Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has embarked on a seven-day international tour to Dubai and Spain, aimed at showcasing the state’s investment potential, infrastructure, and industrial policies.
The visit commenced in Dubai, where Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India, received Yadav. The tour opened with the ‘Brand Madhya Pradesh’ programme, including a short film and exhibition highlighting the state’s cultural diversity and economic promise.
Engaging with the Indian diaspora and local business leaders, the Chief Minister invited overseas entrepreneurs and professionals to join Madhya Pradesh’s development journey. He emphasized the state’s transparent industrial policies, robust infrastructure, and government-backed support systems that make it an attractive destination for foreign investment.
Yadav’s itinerary includes meetings with leading business groups, the Indian Business and Professional Council, and strategic sessions on sectors such as logistics, retail, pharmaceuticals, textiles, warehousing, and green hydrogen.
Key projects presented during the investment dialogue in Dubai include:
- PM Mitra Park
- Green Energy Zone
- Logistics Hub
- One District-One Product initiative
“These reflect our commitment to sustainable development and economic diversification,” said CM Yadav during one of the sessions.
He is also scheduled to host a dinner with UAE-based industrialists and NRIs, designed to explore collaborative ventures and strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s global business relations.
The Spain leg of the tour is expected to explore further investment avenues in advanced manufacturing, tourism, and renewable energy.
Despite the criticism, the Madhya Pradesh government sees this tour as a strategic opportunity to position the state as a prime destination for global investment and cultural exchange.
