Visiting Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, is now easier than ever as the destination is open to all visitors without the need for entry permits. Guests can once again drive up and explore the mountain freely, enjoying its scenic viewpoints, outdoor activities, and dining experiences.
Visitors planning to dine at 1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest restaurant, are only required to present a confirmed reservation upon arrival. Meanwhile, Red Rock BBQ has also reopened, welcoming guests back to its relaxed mountain setting with its full à la carte offering. All other mountain attractions, viewpoints, and leisure experiences remain open to the public, allowing visitors to reconnect with nature and experience the cooler mountain climate at their own pace.
Adding to the season’s offerings, the Jais Sky Tour (available Wednesdays to Sundays and on public holidays at 9:30am, 11:30am, and 2:00pm) will officially reopen on 18 February, welcoming thrill seekers back to one of the region’s most iconic adventures. The multi-zipline experience takes guests on a journey across the dramatic landscapes of the Hajar Mountains. Designed for adventure and nature lovers, the experience offers a unique way to explore the mountain from above while celebrating Jebel Jais’ spirit of adventure and discovery.
Whether visiting for outdoor exploration, dining above the clouds, or adrenaline-filled experiences, Jebel Jais continues to offer moments that bring visitors closer to nature through the pillars of Educate, Energise and Escape.
