On April 30, 2025, global blockchain technology company OKX, in collaboration with the Tribeca Festival, premiered its short film Mild Mild West at the iconic Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai. The event, attended by industry leaders and technology enthusiasts, marked a milestone in OKX’s commitment to bridging the worlds of cinema and cryptocurrency.
Mild Mild West, directed by Marcelo Burgos and starring Vincent Cassel, Chazz Palminteri, and Bonnie Chen, challenges the oversimplified notion of crypto as the ‘wild west.’
The film portrays the evolution of the crypto industry towards a regulated and secure environment, emphasizing that true freedom in the digital age is achieved through understanding and utilizing the right tools.
