OMNIYAT The Alba project has entered a new phase of development, with the ultra-luxury developer announcing major construction milestones and the formal appointment of Innovo Build LLC as the main contractor. The announcement marks a significant step forward for The Alba, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, the first beachfront resort destination to be managed by Dorchester Collection.
Unveiled globally at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2024, The Alba has since progressed steadily as one of Dubai’s most anticipated waterfront developments. Innovo Build, part of Innovo Group, brings extensive expertise in high-end real estate delivery and has previously led construction for OMNIYAT’s flagship projects on Palm Jumeirah, including AVA at Palm Jumeirah, ORLA, and ORLA Infinity Dorchester Collection, Dubai.

Transition From Groundworks To Vertical Construction
With Innovo Build mobilising on site, The Alba is transitioning from foundational works to vertical construction. Raft foundation works are scheduled to begin in December 2025, marking the start of the structure’s rise toward the Dubai skyline. The diaphragm wall and capping beam works have been completed, creating the essential structural support for the future towers.
Excavation continues in parallel with the installation of the support systems, while piling works are progressing across the site. The coordinated construction sequence underscores the precision required for a project of this scale and complexity.
Next Phase Set For 2025 Handover To Contractor
Residential zones and key landscaped areas are scheduled for handover to Innovo Build in Q4 2025, enabling the contractor to begin shaping the vertical components of the development. The Alba remains on track for delivery in 2028, consistent with OMNIYAT’s original project timeline.
