The inaugural OpEx First KSA 2025 Summit has concluded in Riyadh, bringing together senior government officials, industry leaders, and innovators to advance Saudi Arabia’s transformation. As the nation accelerates its efforts to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the summit served as the country’s first dedicated platform for operational excellence, setting a precedent for a future built on efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.

The summit opened with a keynote address on industrial automation and the role of advanced technologies in scaling efficiency. Throughout the day, discussions focused on data-driven decision-making, digital transformation, and the integration of AI and automation.

Eng. AbdulRazzag Al Aujan, Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, emphasized that operational excellence is not merely an administrative practice but a “deep-rooted organizational culture founded on discipline, mastery, and excellence in execution.”

A key highlight of the event was the announcement of a strategic partnership between Kafaa, a leading Saudi consulting firm, and TeamAssurance. Together, they will launch OELeap, a next-generation platform designed to transform how factories in the Kingdom achieve operational excellence.

Eng. Majed Almeleak, CEO of Kafaa, noted that this partnership combines “global best practices and local expertise to empower Saudi factories with tools that drive efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainable excellence.”

Speakers from prominent organizations such as the Ministry of Finance, HRSD, Red Sea Global, and Ma’aden contributed their insights on how operational excellence principles are shaping workforce transformation, strengthening supply chains, and ensuring long-term resilience.

The conference also featured an awards ceremony, a workshop on Business Process Improvement by King Saud University, and discussions on sustainability in line with the Saudi Green Initiative and net-zero targets.

The summit concluded with a strong call to action, affirming that operational excellence is a national imperative for achieving Vision 2030 and positioning Saudi Arabia as a global hub for innovation and sustainable development.
