Power Slap has officially announced its sixteenth live event, marking a high-energy return to Abu Dhabi during Showdown Week. The event — Power Slap 16: Wolverine vs. Klingbeil, presented by Monster Energy — will take place on Friday, October 24, at the Space42 Arena.

Main Event: Wolverine defends light heavyweight crown

Headlining the card is none other than Power Slap Light Heavyweight Champion Wolverine (5-2, 2 KOs), widely regarded as one of the sport’s biggest names. Wolverine will defend his title for the second time, this time against surging contender Alan “The Kryptonian” Klingbeil (3-2, 2 KOs), ranked No. 6 in the division.

The champion returns fresh off his victory at Power Slap 13 in June, where he retained the belt against Russell Rivera. Wolverine aims to solidify his reign and continue building his legacy, while Klingbeil is determined to shock fans with a highlight-reel upset. “The Kryptonian” seeks to prove he has the heaviest hands in the light heavyweight class and claim championship gold.

Co-main event: Dumpling vs. Big Mak in heavyweight clash

In the co-main event, No. 1-ranked super heavyweight contender Dumpling (2-1-1, 1 KO) will face undefeated rising star Makini “Big Mak” Manu (4-0, 3 KOs), ranked No. 5.

Dumpling, one of the sport’s most popular figures, returns for the first time since losing the Super Heavyweight Championship. With redemption on his mind, he hopes to remind fans why he once stood atop the division. Manu, however, is chasing history of his own — looking to extend his unbeaten run and potentially become the first man to finish Dumpling on the Power Slap stage.

Abu Dhabi Showdown Week adds global spotlight

With the event set against the backdrop of Abu Dhabi’s Showdown Week, Power Slap 16 is expected to draw global attention. The mix of established champions and hungry contenders ensures fireworks inside the Space42 Arena, making October 24 a date to circle for combat sports fans worldwide.
