Rain is expected across scattered areas of the UAE on Saturday as cloud activity intensifies, according to the National Center of Meteorology, which has forecast partly cloudy to cloudy conditions through the day.
Convective cloud formation is likely to develop over different regions, bringing the possibility of rainfall, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours when atmospheric instability tends to increase.
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, with occasional freshening that could push speeds up to 40 km/h. These conditions may lead to blowing dust in open areas, potentially affecting visibility at times.
At sea, conditions in the Arabian Gulf are forecast to be light to moderate overall but could turn rough during periods of active cloud development. The Sea of Oman is expected to remain relatively calm, with light to moderate conditions prevailing.
The forecast reflects typical transitional weather patterns, in which localized cloud buildup can lead to brief but intense rainfall across parts of the country.
