H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received a delegation of ambassadors from European Union member states at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City today. The delegation visited to extend their greetings.
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi welcomed the ambassadors and reaffirmed Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and friendly relations with European Union countries across a range of sectors.
He highlighted the steady growth and progress of these ties, particularly in priority areas of shared interest, including sustainable tourism, advanced manufacturing, and renewable energy.
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi emphasised that Ras Al Khaimah places significant importance on expanding its international partnerships, noting that collaboration with the European Union is among the emirate’s key priorities. He cited the EU’s leading role in advancing economic, cultural, and technological development, attracting foreign investment, and enhancing the dynamic business environment in Ras Al Khaimah, in alignment with its vision for sustainable development.
He added, “Our vision in the emirate is based on building solid partnerships founded on mutual respect and shared ambition. Through strengthening these international relations, we seek to secure a bright and prosperous future for the people of Ras Al Khaimah and to actively participate in global dialogues concerned with progress, stability and sustainable development.”
For their part, the ambassadors expressed their sincere appreciation to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the warm reception and commended the solid bilateral relations between the UAE and European Union member states.
They also praised the comprehensive development achieved by Ras Al Khaimah across various sectors, affirming their countries’ commitment to further strengthening ties and expanding joint cooperation in ways that serve mutual interests.
