H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, today at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah.
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Saud was briefed by the minister on several topics related to the energy and infrastructure sectors, along with the ministry’s development plans and programmes designed in line with sustainability standards and the latest technologies. These efforts aim to enhance service efficiency and ensure the smooth and flexible implementation of projects.
H.H. Sheikh Saud was also updated on the ministry’s future vision, which aligns with the UAE’s national aspirations and strategic objectives to maintain its leadership in the energy and infrastructure sectors, while boosting their positive impact on society and overall quality of life.
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi reaffirmed that the advancement of the infrastructure and energy sectors forms a key pillar in the UAE’s journey to reinforce its competitiveness and strengthen its global stature. He highlighted that ongoing investment in these vital sectors plays a crucial role in improving quality of life, increasing service efficiency, and promoting sustainable economic growth.
H.H. Sheikh Saud noted that Ras Al Khaimah is currently witnessing the execution of several landmark projects that enhance its service and economic frameworks while aligning with the UAE’s sustainability objectives. He underscored the emirate’s commitment to supporting initiatives and programmes that drive balanced development and provide an integrated environment capable of meeting the needs of both society and future generations.
For his part, Suhail Al Mazrouei praised the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for his keen interest and continuous follow-up on development projects within the emirate, as well as his steadfast support for the ministry’s initiatives. He also commended the pioneering projects taking place in Ras Al Khaimah, which serve as an exemplary model in advancing development and reinforcing social cohesion.
