Ras Al Khaimah Police have arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of three women, following a traffic-related altercation in the emirate on May 12.
Authorities reported that the incident began when a vehicle attempted to pass through a narrow road, sparking a heated exchange. The argument quickly escalated, with the suspect, an Arab national, allegedly pulling out a firearm and shooting the women, as per reports. Though they were rushed to the hospital, all three victims later died from their injuries.
Police responded promptly, launched an investigation, and confiscated the weapon used in the attack. The suspect has been taken into custody, and the case has been handed over to the public prosecution for further legal action.
Ras Al Khaimah Police have called on residents to remain composed during daily interactions and warned that anyone endangering public safety will face strict legal consequences.
