UAE’s Rashid Al Mulla, reigning world champion and Abu Dhabi Team star, claimed the bronze medal in the opening round of the Aquabike World Championship – Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025.
Competing in the Freestyle category, Al Mulla delivered a strong performance to secure third place with 40 points, in what proved to be a fiercely contested round featuring some of the world’s top aquabike riders.
Italy’s Roberto Mariani topped the standings with 50 points, while compatriot Massimo Accumulo finished second on 44 points, edging out Al Mulla by a narrow margin.
The championship now moves to Olbia, Italy, where the second round of the Pro-Circuit World Championship will take place from October 17 to 19, 2025.
Al Mulla, known for his technical skill and artistry on the water, will be aiming to bounce back and defend his world title as the season progresses.
