Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police General Headquarters have announced that trucks will be allowed to operate on all roads throughout the emirate 24 hours a day until Wednesday evening, 4 March 2026.
The initiative is designed to support the logistics sector and maintain the uninterrupted movement of supply chains across Dubai.
However, the exemption does not apply to Airport Tunnel and Al Shindagha Tunnel, where current traffic restrictions will remain in effect to ensure road safety and preserve smooth traffic flow along these key routes.
Authorities confirmed that standard truck movement restrictions will be reinstated on Thursday, 5 March 2026, in line with the approved rules and regulations.
Both entities urged truck drivers and transport companies to adhere to traffic guidelines and applicable regulations, and to cooperate with relevant authorities to uphold the highest levels of road safety and efficient traffic movement across Dubai.
