The Sharjah Foundation to Support Pioneering Entrepreneurs (RUWAD), part of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, has announced the second edition of its annual RUWAD Festival. This year’s festival, themed “Mada,” will feature 40 entrepreneurial projects.
The event will be held in the outdoor garden of the House of Wisdom in Sharjah from January 7th to January 11th.
The festival will begin with an opening ceremony on Wednesday at 5:00 PM, attended by key figures including Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, the Chairman of the Department of Economic Development, and Fatima Al Ali, the Acting Director of RUWAD, alongside government officials and members of the entrepreneurial community.
Fatima Al Ali explained that the festival aims to support local businesses by providing free, high-quality spaces to showcase their products and services, particularly in food, fashion, and retail. The event will feature 30 commercial projects run by licensed entrepreneurs and 10 innovative food projects.
All arrangements have been finalized, and the festival will run daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
