The Saudi Arabia Jewellery Exposition (SAJEX), the Kingdom’s first international business-to-business jewellery exhibition, opened on Thursday at the Jeddah Superdome, drawing strong participation from global and Indian brands.

Organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah and the Embassy of India in Riyadh, and supported by Invest Saudi alongside the Chambers of Commerce of Jeddah and Makkah, the three-day event has brought together over 200 exhibitors. The platform is designed to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional hub for the luxury jewellery market, valued at USD 8.3 billion.

Among the Indian participants is Senco Gold & Diamonds, which is leveraging the event to explore partnership opportunities in Saudi Arabia as part of its Gulf expansion strategy. The company’s presence at SAJEX reflects the growing interest of Indian jewellers in tapping into the Kingdom’s fast-growing luxury market, even as India’s own gem and jewellery exports face pressure globally.

By uniting international and regional players under one roof, SAJEX is not only showcasing a wide spectrum of design and craftsmanship but also fostering new opportunities for collaboration and trade in one of the world’s most competitive luxury markets.
