Saudi Arabia Holds INTERPOL Future of Policing Congress 2025 To Address Emerging Security Concerns

The second INTERPOL Future of Policing Congress 2025, which was held in Riyadh on Monday, Saudi Arabia, which was a two-day conference on security concerns and transformation.

The conference held at Naif Arab University of Sciences on security is attended by delegations of 40 countries and different regional and international security organizations in collaboration with the International Criminal Police Organization.

The main aim of the event will consist of the future of policing and technological advancements, and the way law enforcement can adapt to emerging challenges.

The event was attended by Senior Saudi officials, such as the Acting Vice Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf.

The President of NAUSS, Dr. Abdulmajeed Albanyan, emphasized that the university is focused on investing in talent and improving security decision-making using a range of programs and events.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that he was thankful to the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, and to INTERPOL, with whom he collaborated.

As stated by Major General Ahmed Al-Raisi, the president of INTERPOL, the security sector is influenced by the worldwide changes that demand advanced preparedness and an all-encompassing vision of the police forces on a global scale.

The SPA reported that Ahmed Al-Raisi has said that modern technologies have transformed the nature of crimes because criminals can now use artificial intelligence and digital systems to overcome traditional forms of law enforcement.
