Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy announced that the Ras Tanura refinery was the target of an attempted drone attack on Wednesday morning, noting that no damage occurred and operations and supplies remained unaffected.
Ministry of Defence spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki said the attempted strike was directed at the Ras Tanura refinery, with initial assessments indicating that a drone was used. He confirmed that the incident caused no damage, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
