H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, issued on Thursday an administrative decision concerning the formation of the Sharjah Sports Club Board of Directors.
According to the decision, the Board of Directors will be chaired by Mohammed Juma bin Hindi, with the following members:
- Ibrahim Saleh Sambij
- Ibrahim Mohammed Al Jarwan
- Rashid Salem Al Bas
- Suleiman Abdulrahman Abdullah
- Obaid Saeed Al Shamsi
- Mohammed Saleh Al Ali
- Mohammed Abdullah Bourhima
- Nasser Saeed bin Afsan
The decision stipulates that the Board shall distribute administrative roles among its members during its first meeting and elect a Vice Chairman either by consensus or through a direct secret ballot.
Furthermore, the decision specifies that the term of membership for the Board will be four years, starting from the date of issuance of this decision. The term may be extended for a similar period or multiple periods, and the Board shall continue to carry out its duties upon the expiry of its term until a new Board is formed or the current Board’s membership is renewed.
