Celebrated rapper and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg, 53, marked a significant personal milestone this weekend — 28 years of marriage with his wife and longtime partner, Shante Broadus.
The couple, who met as high school students at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California, commemorated their anniversary on Saturday, June 14, with heartfelt social media tributes.
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr., shared a photo of the couple on Instagram, captioned with a blue heart emoji and tagging Shante’s handle. Shante Broadus posted a carousel of photos, including a nostalgic throwback image from their early relationship, writing:
“Happy Anniversary @snoopdogg Thank You For All You Do #28.”
A Bond That Withstood Time and Trials
The couple tied the knot in June 1997 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey, California. Though they briefly separated in 2004, they renewed their vows in 2008, reaffirming a relationship that has weathered the complexities of fame and family life.
Together, they share three children: Corde, Cordell, and Cori. Snoop is also the father of a son, Julian, from a previous relationship. Now, the grandparents, the Broadus family, remain close-knit, often appearing together at events and on social media.
