Reflecting on 2025, Mustafa Moiz, Managing Director of Symbolic Developments, highlighted three key milestones that defined the company’s growth trajectory.
“First, the handover of Symbolic Alpha in just 14 months was a critical proof-point. It demonstrated that we don’t just make promises; we deliver ahead of schedule without compromising quality. This operational success became the catalyst for our growth.”
Building on that momentum, Symbolic doubled its launches, unveiling Symbolic Zen Residences in Al Furjan and Symbolic Altus in Liwan.
“These milestones further strengthened our standing as a trusted developer, driven by disciplined execution, long-term vision, and enduring value creation. We proved that the Speedex Group legacy of 35 years translates directly into residential excellence, allowing us to scale quickly but sustainably,” Moiz added.
Investor confidence and market demand played a central role in guiding Symbolic’s project strategy across 2025.
“Our strategy was entirely data-driven and responsive to real-world performance,” Moiz explained.
“In Liwan, the decision to launch Symbolic Altus was a direct response to the success of Symbolic Alpha. When we saw homeowners achieving capital gains of 33% with strong rental demand, we knew the market had confidence in this location and our product. It was a natural step to ‘return to Liwan.'”
In Al Furjan, robust demand for lifestyle-centric residences informed the launch of Symbolic Zen Residences.
“With our Symbolic Aura project seeing capital appreciation of 20–25% even while under construction, it confirmed that families are seeking the lifestyle-centric approach we offer. This robust investor confidence gave us the green light to launch Symbolic Zen Residences, knowing that the appetite for our specific brand of ‘breathable luxury’ was growing.”
The launches of Symbolic Zen Residences and Symbolic Altus were driven by clear market demand. Symbolic Zen Residences was designed to cater to buyers seeking wellness-focused, low-density communities with greater privacy, appealing to both end-users and long-term investors.
Symbolic Altus followed the strong performance of Symbolic Alpha, where homeowners achieved rental yields of up to 9% and resale gains exceeding 30%, creating sustained demand for a second project in Liwan from both existing and new buyers.
Rather than expanding indiscriminately, Symbolic focused on locations where its product–market fit was already proven. Balancing investor returns with community-centered development is a core philosophy for Symbolic.
“We believe that investor returns and community focus are not competing goals; they are deeply complementary,” Moiz further explained. “The strong rental yields of up to 9% and appreciation of up to 25% achieved by our projects are a result of our focus on prioritizing the community experience.”
By designing “breathable” architecture, integrating Zen gardens, and ensuring low-density living, Symbolic creates long-term, livable communities. High demand and lower vacancy rates naturally drive up both resale and rental value, proving that prioritizing residents fuels investor returns.
So in the end, “2025 was the year we demonstrated that prioritizing our residents creates positive ripple effects throughout the entire ecosystem,” Moiz emphasized. “When a Symbolic Alpha homeowner earns a 9% rental yield or secures a resale offer 33% above their entry price, it confirms we are building what people actually want.”
