A star-studded night comes to a close as Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand has been crowned Miss World 2025, winning the magnificent blue crown during the grand finale held on Saturday, May 31, at the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad, India.

She was crowned the same by last year’s winner, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic, becoming the 72nd titleholder of the world’s longest-running international beauty pageant. Opal stood out among 107 contestants from across the globe. Videos of her winning moment have gone viral on social media already.

The runners-up included Hasset Dereje Admassu of Ethiopia in second place, Maja Klajda of Poland in third, and Aurélie Joachim of Martinique in fourth.

Philippines’ Krishnah Gravidez also made her mark, finishing in the Top 8. She aimed to win the Philippines’ second Miss World crown, following Megan Young, who brought home the title in 2013.

Ahead of the finale, Krishnah dedicated her Miss World journey to her kababayans (fellow Filipinos), proudly representing the Philippines on the international stage.

The event celebrated not just beauty, but purpose and unity, with Opal’s win marking a proud moment for Thailand and a memorable close to an inspiring competition.
