The Camel Racing Federation has announced the third edition of the Dhafra Camel Racing Festival, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region.
According to a statement issued today, the festival will take place from 23rd to 26th October at the Camel Racing Track in Zayed City, Al Dhafra Region.
The event underscores the importance of preserving the UAE’s cultural heritage, inspired by the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and supported by the nation’s wise leadership.
This year’s festival will feature 100 races across the Haqayiq, Lagayya, and Ezaa categories, including 24 symbols, eight for each category, with valuable cash and in-kind prizes for the winners. A significant turnout is expected from both local and international participants, building on the success of the previous two editions.
