Talabat Holding plc, the leading food and grocery delivery platform in the MENA region, has named Toon Gyssels as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective November 21, 2025. Gyssels returns to talabat after previously serving as Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO. He succeeds Tomaso Rodriguez, who is stepping down after six years at the helm and will now take on a non-executive board role.
The leadership shift is part of a planned transition aimed at driving the company’s next phase of innovation and growth in the region. Gyssels is expected to focus on strengthening talabat’s technology-driven operations, new service lines, and customer experience.
