The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has identified a low-pressure system over the northern Arabian Sea near the Indian coastline.

NCM stated that numerical models predict the system could intensify into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours and move west-southwest toward the central Arabian Sea.

The centre confirmed that the UAE is currently unaffected and noted that more precise information on the system’s strength and trajectory will be available once it fully develops.
