US President Donald Trump has threatened to revoke the citizenship of comedian Rosie O’Donnell, reigniting their long-standing public feud, according to USA Today. The threat came via a July 12 post on Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, where he claimed O’Donnell is “not in the best interests of our Great Country.”

“She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” Trump wrote in the post, referencing O’Donnell’s recent relocation to Ireland.

In response, O’Donnell issued a strongly worded Instagram statement, referencing a photo of Trump with the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. “Rattled again? 18 years later and I still live rent-free in that collapsing brain of yours,” she wrote.

O’Donnell further condemned Trump’s politics, saying, “You call me a threat to humanity – but I’m everything you fear: a loud woman, a queer woman, a mother who tells the truth, an American who got out of the country before you set it ablaze.”

The former co-host of The View revealed earlier this year that she had moved to Ireland, citing the post-Trump political climate as a significant factor. “It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically,” she said in March. “The personal is political, as we all know.”

Their feud dates back nearly two decades to O’Donnell’s time on The View, when she criticized Trump during his 2006 dispute with Miss USA Tara Conner. Since then, Trump has frequently insulted her publicly, and the feud has become a symbol of their ideological clash.

In her latest rebuttal, O’Donnell accused Trump of fear-mongering and dishonesty: “You lie, you steal, you degrade – I nurture, I create, I persist.” She closed her statement with a powerful line: “You are everything that is wrong with America – and I’m everything you hate about what’s still right with it.”

A representative for O’Donnell directed USA Today to her Instagram statement and declined further comment.
