The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has continued its humanitarian mission in support of the Palestinian people, completing its 72nd airdrop of aid over the Gaza Strip under Operation Birds of Goodness, a key component of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
The airdrop was carried out in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with the participation of Germany, Italy, Belgium, France, and Singapore, reflecting wide international collaboration.
Essential supplies delivered
The latest shipment included large quantities of essential food supplies, prepared with the support of UAE-based charitable institutions and humanitarian organisations. These provisions are intended to help address urgent needs amid the worsening humanitarian conditions faced by residents in the Strip.
Nearly 4,000 tonnes of aid delivered
With this operation, the total aid delivered by air under Operation Birds of Goodness has now exceeded 3,972 tonnes, comprising food and other relief essentials. The UAE reaffirmed that its ongoing commitment is focused on strengthening resilience and alleviating suffering for Palestinians enduring the crisis.
Reinforcing the UAE’s humanitarian leadership
The initiative highlights the UAE’s prominent role in global relief efforts, mobilising both regional and international partners to provide urgent humanitarian support. By scaling up its assistance, the UAE continues to reinforce its vision of humanitarian giving and solidarity with populations affected by conflict and disaster.
