The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the attempted targeting of the Republic of Türkiye with an Iranian ballistic missile. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed the missile before it reached Turkish territory. The UAE described the incident as a serious escalation, a blatant violation of state sovereignty, and a direct threat to regional security and stability.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that extending attacks to additional countries is unacceptable under all legal and political norms. The ministry warned that such actions represent a dangerous escalation that undermines efforts to de-escalate tensions and further destabilizes the region.
