H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli strike that targeted the State of Qatar, describing it as a flagrant violation of sovereignty, a breach of international law, and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability.

Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with Qatar and support for all measures aimed at ensuring the safety and security of its citizens and residents. He stressed the urgent need for an immediate cessation of hostilities, warning that continued provocations risk undermining regional security and could lead to grave consequences for international peace.

He called on the international community, and the UN Security Council in particular, to assume their legal and moral responsibilities in deterring further escalation. “The continuation of such aggression reflects reckless conduct that fuels tension, escalates conflict, and undermines prospects for stability,” Sheikh Abdullah said.

The UAE minister further warned that the persistence of such attacks, in the absence of a decisive international stance, would have “grave repercussions on regional and global peace and security” and solidify an unacceptable situation that cannot be overlooked.

The statement comes as diplomatic efforts intensify across the region to prevent further escalation and preserve stability amid growing international concern.
