A UAE humanitarian aid convoy entered the Gaza Strip today via the Rafah Border Crossing in Egypt, as part of the country’s continued efforts to support the Palestinian people under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
The convoy included 23 trucks, of which 16 carried critical medical supplies donated by the UAE to the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Gaza for distribution to hospitals across the Strip. These included medicines, medical solutions, and essential life-saving equipment such as ventilators, dialysis machines and filters, respiratory support devices, infusion pumps, and blood glucose monitors.
The shipment also delivered vital healthcare equipment and furnishings, including advanced hospital beds, pediatric and neonatal beds, patient stretchers, wheelchairs, and crutches, alongside specialised refrigerators for the safe storage of sensitive medicines and vaccines.
The remaining seven trucks contained food supplies aimed at addressing urgent nutritional needs of families in Gaza.
Through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE reaffirms its commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people and ensuring the provision of essential aid to the most vulnerable.
