Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has entered into an agreement with Al Fardan Exchange, granting the company the naming rights for Al Khail Metro Station. This collaboration presents a significant investment opportunity for Al Fardan Exchange, thanks to the prime locations of Dubai Metro stations, which offer brands high visibility and the chance to connect with a wide variety of commuters from all walks of life.
As part of the agreement, Al Fardan Exchange will receive full brand representation across the station, along with access to advanced technologies and smart solutions to enhance brand visibility. This setup is designed to create an ideal environment for promoting their services and engaging with consumers.
Abdul Mohsen Kalbat, CEO of the Rail Agency at RTA, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, noting the importance of collaborating with a leading national company in the financial sector. He described the agreement as a key step in fostering a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship between RTA and Al Fardan Exchange.

Kalbat emphasized the strategic value of the naming rights initiative, which is a cornerstone of public-private partnerships aimed at bolstering the UAE’s economy and advancing its infrastructure. “This initiative is vital in strengthening the national economy and opening new avenues for the private sector to support governmental goals,” he said. “The successful partnership between the RTA and private entities contributes to knowledge exchange, expertise development, and job creation.”
Hassan Fardan Al Fardan, CEO of Al Fardan Exchange, expressed pride in the partnership with RTA, describing it as a natural extension of the company’s commitment to its Emirati roots and forward-thinking vision. He highlighted the role of public transport in modern urban development, noting that the Dubai Metro stands as a symbol of the UAE’s innovation in urban mobility.
“We are excited about this opportunity to engage with the millions of daily commuters and continue supporting our customers with seamless financial services,” Al Fardan said. “This collaboration will not only enhance the passenger experience but also deepen our ties with the community we’ve served for generations.”
The partnership will also provide passengers with unique brand experiences through smart technologies and interactive solutions across the metro network. Al Fardan Exchange will exclusively benefit from the strategic location of the station, which is one of the city’s most significant landmarks.
From April through June 2025, the RTA will begin updating the station’s name across all external and internal signage, as well as on smart and electronic systems, and in public transport applications. Audio announcements on metro trains will also be updated to reflect the new name.
Dubai Metro passengers are advised to be aware of the changes and are encouraged to seek assistance from RTA teams stationed at the metro if they need further clarification during the transition period.
