The UAE Humanitarian Ship departed today for the Gaza Strip as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, carrying 7,200 tonnes of relief supplies to help meet urgent needs and ease the suffering of people in the region.
The shipment comprises 4,680 tonnes of essential food, 2,160 tonnes of shelter materials, tents, and winter clothing, along with 360 tonnes of medical aid and four water tanks.
This consignment represents a comprehensive humanitarian effort addressing Gaza’s most pressing daily requirements.
The initiative highlights the unity and collaboration of UAE humanitarian and charitable organisations, reflecting the nation’s enduring values of solidarity and rapid humanitarian response. It follows the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who prioritises humanitarian action and ensures continued relief support for the people of Gaza.
