The Council reaffirmed its commitment to monitoring and regulating non-compliant advertising, urging all individuals, corporate advertisers, and influencers to strictly follow approved regulations and standards to ensure a responsible and trustworthy media environment.
The advertisement in question made unverified medical and therapeutic claims, lacked official approval from the relevant health authority, and included misleading information, violating professional media standards.
The Council confirmed that the advertiser has been summoned and legal action has been initiated in accordance with existing legislation.
