The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka–Kansai marked a major achievement as it welcomed its one millionth visitor, highlighting the growing global interest in the country’s cultural and innovative showcase since the event opened on April 13.
In a special ceremony held at the pavilion, the symbolic visitor was received by Shihab Ahmed Al Faheem, UAE Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General of the UAE Pavilion. To honour the moment, the guest was presented with a commemorative certificate, marking the milestone and reinforcing the pavilion’s significance at the world expo.

Al Faheem expressed pride in the achievement, noting the UAE Pavilion’s role in promoting cultural dialogue and future-focused storytelling. “Every individual who visits our pavilion becomes part of the story we are telling—a story that embodies the values of the UAE, reflects the spirit of its people, and captures our aspirations for a brighter future,” he said.
Operating under the theme “Earth to Ether”, the UAE Pavilion offers an immersive experience that connects the nation’s heritage, values, and forward-thinking vision. Its unique design and narrative have attracted a steady stream of international visitors, making it a standout destination at the expo.
With Expo 2025 continuing until October 13, the UAE Pavilion is poised to welcome even more guests, reinforcing its position as a key platform for cross-cultural engagement and global inspiration. – WAM
