UAE Public Prosecution Joins BRICS Meeting On AI And Justice

The UAE Public Prosecution participated in the 7th Meeting of Heads of Prosecution Services of BRICS Countries, convened under the chairmanship of Brazil’s Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Held via videoconference, the session focused on the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Justice: Strategies for Legal Security, Ethics, and International Cooperation.” It brought together senior officials from BRICS member states to exchange perspectives on integrating AI into legal systems while upholding rights and judicial integrity.

In its intervention, the UAE Public Prosecution highlighted its efforts to adopt advanced technologies in prosecutorial work, underscoring that AI-driven tools can enhance efficiency and support the fair application of justice. It also voiced support for collaborative initiatives that reinforce the rule of law, protect rights, and foster stronger mechanisms for international cooperation.

Officials said the UAE’s participation reflects its broader strategy of engaging with global institutions and building effective partnerships across regional and international platforms.
