The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has announced that the fourth edition of ‘Make it in the Emirates’ will be held from May 19 to 22, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), under the theme “Advanced Industries. Accelerated.”

The event is poised to be the most significant industrial gathering in the region to date. MoIAT organises it with strategic partners, including the Ministry of Culture, ADNOC Group, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company Group.

Speaking at a press conference at Emirates Towers, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, emphasized the UAE’s strategic vision to transform its industrial landscape and build a diversified, competitive, and knowledge-driven economy.

“Make it in the Emirates is where ambition meets opportunity. It is a national platform to promote industrial growth, attract investment, and showcase local innovation and manufacturing capabilities,” said Dr. Al Jaber.

A Strategic Platform for Industrial Growth

Now in its fourth edition, the event underscores the success of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, launched in 2021. Key objectives include increasing the industrial sector’s contribution to GDP, accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies, and positioning the UAE as a global hub for future industries.

This year’s edition arrives at a critical time for global economies, amid geopolitical shifts impacting trade and supply chains. The UAE’s economic resilience and adaptability model will be a central theme across the event’s four days.

Massive Scale and Key Highlights

The 2025 edition will expand to 68,000 square meters, with more than 700 exhibitors and over 30,000 expected visitors—fivefold growth compared to the previous year. Noteworthy announcements will include major procurement deals, new financing initiatives, Industry 4.0 advancements, and exclusive job opportunities for Emiratis.

Key features include:

  • Industrialists Career Exhibition with over 1,200 job opportunities across 100 companies

Driving National Priorities

Omar Al Suwaidi, MoIAT’s undersecretary, noted that the event supports the UAE’s long-term economic development goals by nurturing innovation, empowering Emirati talent, and attracting foreign investment.

The agenda includes ministerial panels, ICV Champion awards, and discussions on key themes such as AI-driven manufacturing, smart industrial transformation, supply chain resilience, and global trade access.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, emphasized the venue’s expanded capacity and the event’s role in enhancing industrial competitiveness and global market access for UAE-made products.

Mubarak Al Nakhi, Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, highlighted the alignment with the ‘Year of Community 2025’, emphasizing cultural heritage and support for Emirati artisans through the Artisans Handicrafts pavilion.

Strengthening the Industrial Ecosystem

Senior representatives from ADNOC, ADIO, and other key stakeholders reiterated their commitment to supporting the national industrial ecosystem through incentives, local content strategies, and enabling frameworks for SMEs and startups.

Notably, the value of the UAE’s industrial exports rose to AED 197 billion in 2024, while ICV Program contributions exceeded AED 347 billion, reflecting strong national momentum.

The event will also spotlight Abu Dhabi’s progress under the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy (ADIS), including increased industrial output to AED 111.6 billion and a rise in skilled industrial professionals.

Invitation to Stakeholders

MoIAT has invited local and international manufacturers, investors, and innovators to participate in Make it in the Emirates 2025, which promises to deliver transformative partnerships and investment opportunities across 12 priority sectors.

“Businesses that make it in the Emirates will enhance their global competitiveness, access over 3 billion consumers, and contribute to a resilient and future-ready economy,” Dr. Al Jaber added.
