Deliverect, a global provider of on- and off-premise solutions for restaurants and retailers, has announced a strategic partnership with Paymob, a leading financial services enabler in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This collaboration integrates Paymob into Deliverect Pay, allowing restaurants across the Middle East to accept and process transactions seamlessly.
The integration enables restaurants utilizing Deliverect Direct for online orders to leverage Paymob’s payment gateway system. Benefits for food and beverage outlets include embedded payment experiences, swift access to funds, higher acceptance rates, and dedicated account management. Additionally, restaurants will receive free daily settlements for the first three months, along with preferential pricing.
The partnership also expands payment options for both consumers and restaurants to include traditional card payments, bespoke digital wallets, and “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) services, aiming to enhance convenience and flexibility in transactions.
This strategic alliance is part of Deliverect’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its payments ecosystem. Both organizations are exploring further enhancements to the customer experience, including potential plans to integrate Paymob with Deliverect’s smart digital kiosks in restaurants.
Naji Haddad, Vice President of EMEA at Deliverect, highlighted the significance of the collaboration. “We are delighted to partner with Paymob, which has established itself as one of the leading financial service enablers in the MENA region,” Haddad stated. He added that the expansion of Deliverect’s ecosystem with Paymob will offer restaurants “seamless operations, giving them swift and easy access to funds for each order that will help them grow and scale their businesses with greater efficiency.”
Islam Shawky, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Paymob, affirmed the partnership’s role in reinforcing Paymob’s market position. “Our partnership with Deliverect further strengthens this position, adding to the growing list of businesses we work with to power the F&B transactions industry in the region,” Shawky commented. He emphasized Paymob’s infrastructure design, which aims to provide ease and accessibility for merchants, empowering digital finance and attracting new audiences through its collaboration with Deliverect.
