H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Communication Technologies Authority (SCTA), received a delegation from e&, led by Masoud Mohammed Sharif, CEO, at his office on Monday.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed welcomed the delegation, highlighting the importance of strengthening cooperation between government and private entities in the telecommunications sector, a vital service contributing to sustainable development.
The discussion focused on developing Sharjah’s digital infrastructure and enhancing the emirate’s capabilities in the sector. H.H. Sheikh Sultan praised e& for its efforts in providing innovative and diverse technical solutions and creating a digital environment that serves all sectors and members of society.
Topics of cooperation between SCTA and e& included improving and expanding Sharjah’s telecommunications network infrastructure, aligning with the latest global technologies, and supporting initiatives in digital sustainability and artificial intelligence to foster a robust business environment.
The delegation also presented H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed with updates on e&’s key infrastructure projects, AI and technological solutions, and innovations in communications, internet services, and digital offerings.
Additionally, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed was briefed on future plans designed to meet the evolving needs of both individual and institutional beneficiaries.
