Abu Dhabi Police Arrest Two After Seizing 184Kg Of Drugs Hidden In Marble Pillars

In a major drug bust, Abu Dhabi Police seized 184 kilograms of hashish from two Asian suspects during a covert operation named ‘Secret Hideouts.’

Brigadier Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate at the Criminal Security Sector of Abu Dhabi Police, revealed that the criminal network behind the narcotics operation was being orchestrated by an individual residing outside the country.

This network used international phone numbers to send unsolicited drug-related promotional materials.

The suspects were caught red-handed in one of the emirates of the UAE, with the drugs hidden inside marble cylinders. Following their arrest, the individuals were handed over to judicial authorities for legal action.

Brigadier Al Dhaheri underscored the advanced capabilities of Abu Dhabi Police in tackling drug-related offenses, highlighting their use of state-of-the-art technologies to uncover criminal activities. He reaffirmed the police force’s dedication to dismantling the operations of drug traffickers, smugglers, and dealers to ensure the safety of the public.
