Dalil and e7 Group PJSC have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on Idenex, a specialized digital identity company, to create a globally competitive UAE-based identity solutions platform.
Under the agreement, e7 will explore a potential strategic investment in Idenex, supporting its expansion as a provider of advanced identity management systems for governments and enterprises worldwide.
The partnership is positioned as a step towards building a national champion in identity solutions, leveraging the UAE’s track record in digital government systems and secure identity infrastructure.
Idenex is designed to deliver next-generation digital identity ecosystems, enabling organizations to manage identity data securely, reduce operational risks, and accelerate large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Its solutions span the full lifecycle of identity management, from enrolment and credential issuance to authentication and ongoing management.
The collaboration will combine Dalil’s expertise in digital identity platforms with e7’s capabilities in secure manufacturing and physical identity solutions, creating an integrated “phygital” offering that bridges digital and physical identity systems.
Talal Al Ahmad, CEO of Dalil, said the initiative builds on the UAE’s success in deploying advanced identity systems and aims to scale that model globally. “Idenex is about taking something the UAE has already done exceptionally well and making it accessible to the rest of the world,” he said.
Mohamad Yousef, CEO of Idenex, added that the collaboration will help position Emirati technology as a global benchmark in digital identity systems, enabling international markets to adopt proven standards of efficiency and innovation.
For e7, the partnership aligns with its long-term strategy to expand its presence across the identity value chain. Chairman Ahmed Al Shamsi said the move strengthens the company’s end-to-end offering by integrating digital platforms with its established physical identity capabilities.
The initiative also opens up new long-term revenue opportunities, particularly in large-scale government identity programs, while enhancing capacity utilization and global market reach.
The intelligence and infrastructure developed through Idenex are expected to support governments in building secure, scalable, and citizen-centric identity ecosystems, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a leader in digital transformation.
