Porsche is celebrating 70 years in the Middle East with an ultra-exclusive Kuwait-inspired edition of its iconic Porsche 911 Turbo S.

Called the “Sadu Edition,” the luxury sports car pays tribute to Al Sadu, the traditional Bedouin weaving art form known for its bold geometric patterns and distinctive red-and-black designs deeply rooted in Gulf heritage.

Only 20 units of the limited-edition vehicle will be produced, making it one of Porsche’s most exclusive regional releases.

The design incorporates traditional Al Sadu-inspired patterns throughout the vehicle’s interior, including seat upholstery, door panels, and the rear wing. Porsche is also offering additional bespoke customization options, allowing buyers to extend the design detailing into areas such as the glove compartment lining and front trunk.

The project marks seven decades since the first Porsche 356 Cabriolet arrived in Kuwait in 1956, highlighting the longstanding relationship between the German automaker and Gulf luxury consumers.

The color palette references several signature Porsche shades, including Bordeaux Red, Guards Red, GT Silver, and Black, blending regional cultural aesthetics with Porsche’s performance-focused design identity.

Luxury automotive brands have increasingly turned toward region-specific editions and cultural collaborations as demand grows among high-net-worth consumers in the Gulf for bespoke and collectible vehicles.
