Ras Al Khaimah is preparing to awe the world with its most impressive New Year’s Eve celebration yet, aiming to set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title with the largest firework ever launched.
This year’s event is built around a creative theme symbolizing strength, renewal and the emirate’s spirit of progress.
Combining cutting-edge pyrotechnics with illuminated drones and laser effects, the show will transform the night sky into a breathtaking canvas of light, colour and spectacular visuals on an unmatched scale.
The 15-minute spectacle will feature one of the world’s most expansive firework displays, stretching across six kilometres from Marjan Island to Al Hamra. More than 2,300 drones, including pyro and laser models, will create stunning formations in the sky. At midnight, the show will reach its peak with the launch of the largest single firework ever seen.
Ras Al Khaimah’s New Year’s Eve programme includes two fireworks displays. The first will take place above Corniche Al Qawasim at 8:00 pm. The signature midnight showcase will then illuminate Marjan Island and Al Hamra bay with advanced pyrotechnics and large-scale drone formations.
Held at Al Hamra, the free-entry Ras Al Khaimah New Year’s Eve Festival will welcome residents and visitors from 2:00 pm, offering live entertainment, food trucks and carnival-style activities for all ages.
The festival stage will host a vibrant lineup of international performers. Multiple parking zones will be available around the venue, including dedicated areas for caravans and camping to ensure smooth access.
Visitors must register their vehicles in advance at the official website to secure a preferred parking zone and receive key entry and exit guidance. Vehicle registration is mandatory and determines parking access.
The record-setting fireworks can be viewed live on the official website and across @visitrasalkhaimah social media channels on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
With 13 GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles earned over the past seven years, Ras Al Khaimah continues to solidify its reputation as one of the world’s top destinations for New Year’s Eve celebrations.
