UAE National Day Celebrations: Sharjah Government Employees Get 5-Day Break

The Sharjah Department of Human Resources has officially announced the holiday for government employees in Sharjah to celebrate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad. The holiday will be observed on Monday and Tuesday, December 2 and 3, with employees returning to work on Wednesday, December 4. Shift workers will follow alternative arrangements.

A variety of events are planned to celebrate the UAE’s 53rd National Day. Public museums in Sharjah, Kalba, and Khorfakkan will offer free admission on key days. Additionally, the Sharjah Museums Authority has organized several cultural events and activities to deepen appreciation for Emirati heritage and provide the community an opportunity to connect with the nation’s cultural legacy.
