The 55th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, currently happening at the Expo Centre Sharjah, is turning heads with a spectacular world record debut – the unveiling of the world’s largest gold frame.
Crafted entirely from 21-karat gold, the striking piece titled “Union Frame” has officially entered the Guinness World Records. Presented by Golden Arabia Jewellery, the frame celebrates the UAE’s spirit of unity under the theme “Art that Tells the Story of a Nation.”
Intricately designed, the massive frame features detailed gold engravings of iconic landmarks from all seven emirates. Highlights include the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the Quran Roundabout in Sharjah, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Dhayah Fort in Ras Al Khaimah, and other culturally significant sites like the forts and museums of Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, and Ajman, reports WAM.
Beyond its grandeur, the piece is a fusion of artistic mastery and national heritage, symbolizing the UAE’s journey from deep-rooted traditions to modern prosperity.
