Autoworld International FZCO, the regional distributor for India’s Bajaj Auto Ltd., has announced an AED 45 million investment to develop a logistics and distribution facility in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza). The new hub is set to strengthen Autoworld’s presence across high-growth markets in the Middle East and Africa.

The facility, covering 162,000 sq. ft, will include a dedicated assembly plant for Bajaj motorcycles and three-wheelers, along with warehousing and distribution space for spare parts, tyres, and lubricants. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the facility will also serve as a launchpad for new product lines through international brand partnerships.

The announcement was made in the presence of Abdullah Bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC; Abdulla Al Hashmi, COO of Parks & Zones at DP World GCC; and senior executives from Autoworld, including Chairman Kumar Motiram Lakhani and Managing Director Monish Lakhani.

“This expansion underscores the strength of Jafza’s integrated trade and logistics ecosystem, which now connects 940 automotive companies from 88 countries,” said Al Hashmi. “In 2024 alone, Jafza enabled automotive trade valued at nearly AED 102 billion.”

The project is expected to generate over 100 direct and indirect jobs, further supporting Dubai’s position as a regional logistics and mobility hub.
