Ascend Esports, the city’s newest dedicated esports hub, has announced two major initiatives this August aimed at empowering female gamers and content creators across the UAE. The Valorant Female Tournament and the Streaming Crash Course are designed to provide training, resources, and a safe, competitive environment for women in gaming.
Scheduled for 22-23 August, the Valorant Female Tournament is open to all casual and semi-competitive female players. Every participant will receive a free coaching session, while the top 10 players will share cash prizes, gaming hours, and academy session access worth up to AED 40,000. The event is intended to connect like-minded gamers and foster skill development in a professional setting.
The Streaming Crash Course, set for 12-13 September, will give aspiring and existing streamers practical guidance on building their channels. For AED 300, participants will gain access to Ascend’s professional streaming rooms and equipment, hands-on training, and 10 redeemable streaming hours to help launch or enhance their content creation journey.
Beyond these events, Ascend Esports positions itself as more than a gaming café, offering structured learning programs, private streaming setups, and an in-house esports academy. The venue employs Kidas monitoring software to ensure a safe, toxicity-free environment for players.
“We’re not just creating events, we’re building pathways to a sustainable gaming culture within the region,” said Ashis Jami, Founder & CEO of Ascend Esports. “We are building a safe, supportive space where female gamers can learn, compete, and grow—whether casually or with professional aspirations.”
With both free registration for the tournament and affordable bootcamp access, Ascend Esports aims to lower entry barriers for women in gaming and streaming while fostering a strong, inclusive esports community in the UAE.
