flydubai has announced the launch of new flights to Nairobi International Airport (NBO), Kenya, starting 15th October 2025. The service will operate four times weekly from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), strengthening connectivity between the UAE and East Africa.

In addition to Nairobi, flydubai will increase its flights to Mombasa to a daily service from 1st October 2025, bringing its total weekly flights to Kenya to 11. The expansion reflects the airline’s strategy to tap growing demand for both business and leisure travel between the two regions.

“These flights underline the importance of connecting Kenya to Dubai’s global aviation hub, enhancing access for trade, travel, and tourism between our two countries,” said Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai. “We remain committed to supporting stronger economic and cultural ties between the UAE and Africa.”

The new routes come amid rising trade and tourism flows between the UAE and East Africa. Analysts note that improved air connectivity is expected to facilitate business partnerships, stimulate tourism, and provide greater opportunities for cultural exchange, positioning Dubai as a strategic gateway for African markets.

With this expansion, flydubai reinforces its role in bridging markets across the Middle East and Africa, complementing its growing network across regional and international destinations.
