Dubai Entertainment Holding is gearing up to create a spooky and exciting atmosphere this season with a packed programme of dazzling shows and fun family events at its most prominent destinations, including Riverland Dubai, Motiongate Dubai,The Green Planet Dubai and Wild Wadi Waterpark. The city’s most popular destinations will come to life with parades and shows, interactive experiences, and spooky surprises that will be full of fun and leave unforgettable memories for visitors of all ages.
Dubai Parks and Resorts
Motiongate Dubai returns this season to offer the region’s biggest horror experience with Nights of Terror 8: Phantasmagoria, running from October 1 to 31, where guests enter the world of evil director Eiffel M. rail,” which turned the park into a scary filming location. Visitors can experience experiences inspired by the most iconic horror films such as Saw and The Stringers. Studio Central is packed with zombies and ghosts during the Terror Nights Parade, and the Hollywood Theater hosts a dance-filled show of Fantasmagoria where the audience becomes part of the story.
Guests can take on zombies in Breaking Out in Zombieland, experience the dark 4D underworld with vampires and werewolves, or hunt ghosts in Ghost Hunters: The Battle of New York.
Younger visitors will find fun at family events full of laughter, such as handing out candy with smurfs, meeting cute monsters at the Transylvania Hotel, and festive decorations that add a fun Halloween atmosphere.
Riverland Dubai will be transformed into a thrill-packed theatre with the Enchanted Jungle Parade, where dances and theatrical performances blend with an interactive story that audiences join, as legendary discoverers lead an army of zombies through music and action. Combining comedy, theatrical tricks and dazzling dances in a unique combination, the show is suitable for all ages with some moments that will make the little ones hold their parents’ hands.
The musical atmosphere kicks off with Beautiful Beats on the Sports Boulevard stage, where two witches and their band perform a dance song that mixes international songs, dance and Halloween magic.
Marine adventure enthusiasts will be treated to an excitement at the Pirate Café, Dubai’s only soon-to-be-themed pirate-themed dining experience, transformed into a world of terrifying surprises as zombie pirates perform a show full of duels and acrobatics at the Pirate Halloween Show.
Riverland also offers unique photo opportunities through Monster Encounters, or with small alien puppets at Neon Galaxy’s Alien Encounters.
The Green Planet Dubai
From 28 October to 3 November, The Green Planet Dubai invites families to experience a unique experience through the haunted forest, where visitors explore a world full of creepy reptiles and insects across four floors filled with interactive surprises, along with more than 3000 species of plants and animals.
Guests can gather under the giant kapok tree to enjoy terrifying tales, where legends and stories of mysterious animals are told in a fun educational atmosphere. Children can take part in eco-friendly arts and crafts activities, through which they can make souvenirs while learning about the importance of nature conservation. To enhance the Halloween atmosphere, The Green Planet Dubai invites animal lovers to an unforgettable camping adventure in the haunted forest from Friday 31 October to Saturday 1 November. Guests take a terrifying night tour of the lush ecosystem after dark, where creepy and terrifying creatures are active.
Each camping experience runs from 7:00 pm to 8:00 am, with comfortable tents under the shade of the rainforest for an unparalleled experience. Prices start from AED 900 for a standard tent that can accommodate two people, and AED 1700 for a large tent that can accommodate four people.
Foodies can enjoy a meal at JNGL Restaurant, where family dishes and innovative desserts add a mouthwatering twist to the day of adventure. For thrill-seekers after dark, an exclusive night tour awaits them that provides an immersive experience for the bravest of adventurers.
Wild Wadi Waterpark
Wild Valley Waterpark transforms its famous Ladies Night into an exceptional Halloween night on Friday, October 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy free face painting to get into the Halloween atmosphere, spooky DJ songs, trick-or-treating surprises and mysterious gift bags, as well as a surprise dance show that captures the spirit of the season. Halloween-inspired snacks, spooky drinks, and pumpkin-themed photo angles complete the evening for an unforgettable memory.
