Omar Abdulrahman, fondly known as Amoory, has officially announced his retirement from football at the age of 34, marking the end of a glittering 17-year career that redefined Emirati football.

The former Al Ain FC superstar shared the news with fans on social media, thanking them for their love and support throughout his journey. Known for his exceptional skill, vision, and flair on the field, Amoory became one of the most celebrated and technically gifted players in the history of UAE football.

Born in Riyadh and raised in the UAE, Omar began his professional career with Al Ain FC in 2008, quickly rising to stardom with his mesmerizing dribbles and game-changing assists. His talent earned him recognition across Asia and beyond, including a trial with Manchester City in 2012.

Throughout his career, Amoory represented top Emirati clubs including Al Ain, Al Jazira, Shabab Al Ahli, and Al Wasl, where he last played. Among his many achievements, he won multiple domestic titles and was crowned AFC Player of the Year in 2016, a historic moment for UAE football.
