Benson Boone lit up Etihad Park last night with a dazzling performance, opening this year’s Emirates NBD After Race Concerts series and kicking off four days of music, racing and entertainment on Yas Island.

The night opened with a high-energy set from Nour Helou, setting the stage for Boone’s arrival, and later closed with a dynamic performance from December12.

Boone took the stage to a packed crowd, immediately setting the tone with I Want To Call Someone with soaring vocals and the charismatic showmanship he has become known for. The set moved smoothly through fan favourites including Wanted Man, Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else and Mystical Magical, each one lifting the energy higher as the night went on.

Backed by a four-piece band and his famous stage productions, Boone delivered a performance built on intensity and emotional punch. His athletic stage presence, effortless switches from soft falsettos to powerhouse notes, and crowd interaction kept fans locked in from the first track. Boone closed the night with Beautiful Things, sending Etihad Park into full voice and marking a standout start to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.

The Yasalam presented by e& programme continues with three more nights of global, award-winning talent for ticket holders, including Post Malone supported by Elyanna on Friday, December 5, Metallica on Saturday, December 6, and Katy Perry on Sunday, December 7. The weekend also features Official After-Parties with Idris Elba and Keinemusik on Friday, December 5, and Calvin Harris on Saturday, December 6.
