Saudia Cargo and the Saudi Export Development Authority signed a strategic memorandum of understanding, which will boost non-oil products reaching international markets.

The agreement is signed in the “Made in Saudi 2025” exhibition in Riyadh, and the purpose is to enable local industries and increase the global competitiveness of national products.

This agreement has direct support with the Kingdom Vision 2030 that aims to diversify the economy by expanding the non-oil exports, establishing a robust industrial base, and taking advantage of the geographic position of the country to make the country an international logistics center.

The press release reported that the partnership aims joint commitment to strengthening the “Saudi Made” program, enabling local products to become a preferred choice in international markets.

The significant areas of collaboration are supporting exporters, overcoming logistical and regulatory hurdles, facilitating export operations, building capacities, and developing innovative shipping solutions.

The press release stated that “The MoU also includes coordinating external participation in international exhibitions, collaborating on launching joint marketing and promotional campaigns, and opening new horizons for national products to be present in global markets.”

This plan is a continuation of the current activities of Saudia Cargo, such as its “BEYOND” campaign, which was introduced earlier this year, aimed at supporting exports following the national economic objectives.

Saudia Cargo is one of the leading carriers in the country, having a network with about 100 destinations in airports, and 250 customer bases spread across four continents.

The company has a modern fleet, a strategic partnership with SkyTeam Cargo, and is well-prepared to deliver the quick and safe transportation of various items, including e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and perishables.

Saudi Exports is a government authority that focuses on building non-oil exports, which involves improving the competitiveness of the exporters in the Kingdom and eliminating obstacles to international trade.

The Made in Saudi Arabia 2025 exhibition, which took place between December 15 and 17, was an opportunity to establish industrial and commercial relationships, attract investments, and investigate new export opportunities.
