The Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Ras Al Khaimah convened a meeting chaired by Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police and Head of the Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team.

The session focused on reviewing the latest developments in the current situation amid ongoing events, examining updates to strengthen readiness and preparedness, and raising alert levels to address potential scenarios.

The team assessed field monitoring reports, preparedness indicators among relevant entities, and the availability of human and technical resources. They also evaluated the readiness of operations rooms, communication systems, and joint coordination mechanisms to ensure rapid responses and effective decision-making when required.

Participants discussed approved plans and mechanisms for activation, business continuity strategies, and response scenarios aligned with best practices. They reviewed the roles and responsibilities of concerned entities and explored ways to enhance integration, reinforcing a comprehensive framework capable of managing risks and crises efficiently and professionally.

The team highlighted the importance of strengthening coordination among entities, improving communication channels, and maintaining continuous information exchange, while continuing preventive measures and raising community awareness about guidelines and instructions from competent authorities.

Emphasizing 24/7 monitoring, the team stressed taking all necessary measures to safeguard lives and property, ensure uninterrupted vital services, and enhance the emirate’s capacity to respond to emergencies efficiently, reflecting the readiness of the integrated emergency, crisis, and disaster management system.
